It's 2009 and you still...

From 8:00 to 8:30 is a minor redemption of battle rap for me.

These are the guys I made you watch on my laptop in 2007 when we got drunk at the Royal and got psyched to enter the WRC in Melbourne. ("BUT THE BRITISH VERSION WAS BE'ER!")

Tell me Disney is not an apologist for slavery:

"Guys! We LOVE serving you. It's why we exist! Don't feel bad. Just let us be servants! And wait on you! You deserve it. We understand and embrace it: you're better than us. We should serve you. Totally!"

Did you know I don't think I have seen any Spike Lee movie except for the Inside Man?

The hashtags and the rap tracks

Of all of our online popularity contests, I'm most confident about taking out our Facebook fan page popularity contest (that I am telling you about with this blog post). You caned me on Myspace (remember when I changed the rules to "if Peach gets 50% or more of your friends, he wins" and you still won?) though not with Hot Galoshes (44 friends?). You're in the process of taking out our Twitter clash convincingly. So I hold high, high hopes for FaceBook. 28 fans plays zero.

This time it's coming up Peach.

*EDIT* - That's 34 now

*EDIT* - 47 (some of whom I don't even know (?))

This post is not about Spit Syndicate

It's about microwave cooking!

The colour!

The variety!

The vibrance!

What a machine.

From El Producto through to El Gusto

Productive times at Jozz's yesterday. Among things I did: started a FACEBOOK FAN PAGE, which is really just another internet popularity contest thing to feel self conscious about. I'm still a little flipped out by the popularity contest you and I had on this very blog (that I couldn't (be bothered) find(ing)?)

I can't believe we're going to change the mixtape game (again).

I can't believe how shocked we'll be when we look back at this period in our lives and remember that Spit Syndicate were great. You know we'll be like, "do you remember liking that crew we no longer like? The ol' change, eh?" That may (not?) happen.

For the moment, they're perfect. Exile will rule.

G-g--g-g-g--get it, boy

This tour is going to be insane. Apparently we'll be eating heaps of Subway. We should practice singing the end bit for when we are (inevitably) invited back on stage.

In other news, my industry is incredibly two-tiered. I'm like part of the High Borne or something in here. And there's a new place with nice coffee.

Can you believe it?

We've been confirmed as the support slot for the Spit Syndicate tour!!! I sent off an email and you have to include an application form and stuff. I actually tried (hard) to "fit the bill" and we got it!

This is going to be so great. Do you know how much you and DJ Joyride are going to talk about R'n'B? Do you know how much we're going to end up being a (huge) part of the Double S show ("let's bring them back out, shall we?! It's PEACH and SHAG!"). We are going to call everything good "bossy" and do things "like a boss". When we say we're doing a thing, we're going to say we do things like that "all day". I can't believe that we're 1dayers (not "one-dayers" - n00b error) now. It's so exciting. Are you excited?!

TOURING!!!!

We're all going to be super best friends. Can you imagine the amazing stories you'll tell? Do you know how much Frozen Coke I'm going to drink? Holy shit.

It goes:

Nick Lupi

Jimmy Nice

DJ Joyride (who'll end the tour with an amusing injoke nickname)

s'Pakice and Fagmullan

Perfect.
