I'm back like Toobs




And while I was gone, both Shady and Ye leaked new tracks, and I'm not sure how I feel about either (i.e. I'm not immediately impressed, and am too scared to think about what that could mean).

It's like he's trying to do 'old Eminem' but his hearts not in it. He's choking some random baby? That's just horrible. It's not 'socking', or 'angry'; it's just deliberately provocative. Where's the actual fire?

He used to rap like he wanted to do these things, and he used to STAY IN CHARACTER: i) crazy, violent guy, ii) silly joker guy, iii) music industry 'real life' guy.

Now they're all the same and it's boring.

No, new Kanye is Coldest Winter - although there is also a mastered version of Heartless floating around too.

Yeah though, I just find new Eminem a bit gross.

Yeah, Coldest Winter is OLD (days).

And new Eminem is fairly gross. And it no longer has that "what, No he didn't! Did he?" grossness. It's just really confronting for the sake of it.

I hope he gets the fire back.

Really, that "never knew I" track you play from MMLP is so great. He was GREAT.
